Inca Trail (2 days 1 night)

Inca Trail (2 days 1 night)

The probably most famous walk in Peru is very popular and often completely booked up. If you don't have too much time but still want to see the world famous ruins, you can go on the two-day tour. With this group service you will join one of our groups, where you will meet like-minded people from all over the world.

First day

After the pick-up of the guests at their hotels we go by train to kilometre 104 where we start the hike. We will first see the ruins of Chachabamba (2'250 m) and keep walking until Wiñaywayna (2'650 m). On the way you will see different beautiful orchids. After the dinner we will go to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the first and only night.

Second day

After the breakfast at 4.00am we will continue our hike until the Machu Picchu and reach the Inti Punku where we will see a beautiful sunrise. There we are going to have a guided tour and you have time afterwards for yourself to look around for a while. After that we are going down again to Aguas Calientes where we will take the train back to Cuzco.

Possible departures

We recommend to book as soon as you know the dates for your trip. Until now we have always received the limited tickets for the Inca Trail. Check this website out http://www.inc-cusco.gob.pe/ to see if there is availability for your requested dates: In general we have groups every day.

When to book

The registration allows a maximum of 500 people daily on the Inca Trail (300 staff members and 200 tourists). That's the reason we recommend to book as early as possible. Especially during the high season (May-August) the Inca Trail is usually completely booked up months before.
